  • Number format

    Select raw numbers, Ctrl + Shift + ! 12,345.68 style

    Readable numbers in one keystroke.

  • Counts

    On a whole column of counts, Ctrl + Shift + ! Separators added, .00 shown

    Then Decrease Decimal twice.

  • Reset

    Ctrl + Shift + ~ Back to General

    Reset.

Worth knowing

  • The ! is on the 1 key: Ctrl + Shift + 1.
  • Decrease Decimal on the ribbon trims the .00.
  • Comma Style on the ribbon is the accounting version without a symbol.

Where it goes wrong

  • Always two decimals initially.
  • Does not right-align text numbers; convert them.
