    Select data, F11 → A full-page chart on a new sheet

    Presentation charts.

  • Compare

    Alt + F1 instead → Chart embedded on the sheet

    Move Chart under Chart Design → Switch between sheet and embedded

    Change later.

Worth knowing

  • Chart sheets print at full page size automatically.
  • Set the default chart type once.
  • Rarely used in dashboards.

Where it goes wrong

  • Laptops may map F11 to a media key; use Fn.
  • Chart sheets cannot hold other content.
