• Expand an item

  Select a row label, Alt + Shift + → → The item expands to show its children

  Drill down.

• Collapse

  Alt + Shift + ← → Collapses it

  Drill up.

• Expand all

  Right-click, Expand/Collapse, Expand Entire Field → Every item expands

  All at once.

• Double-clicking a label toggles expansion too.
• The + and - buttons can be hidden under PivotTable Analyze.
• Same keys as grouping rows outside pivots.

• Expanding a field with many items makes a huge table.
• Only works when a lower-level field exists.
