  Select A1:B10, Ctrl + C, click D1, Ctrl + V → A copy appears at D1

• Copy a formula

  Copy a formula cell, select a range, Ctrl + V → The formula is pasted into every cell with adjusted references

  Relative references shift.

• Copy for values

  Ctrl + C, then Ctrl + Alt + V, V → Values only

  Paste Special after a copy.

• Esc clears the moving border.
• You can paste the same copy several times until you press Esc or edit a cell.
• Copying a whole column copies a million cells; copy the data range instead.

• Copying merged cells and pasting into a different layout fails.
• Copies from filtered ranges include hidden rows unless Alt + ; is used first.
