1What it does

Go To Special selects every cell of a chosen type at once — all the blanks, all the formulas, all the hard-typed constants. It's the fastest way to clean or audit a sheet: select all blanks and delete their rows, or select all formulas to see what's calculated versus typed.

2The shortcut

  1. 1Select your range (or the whole sheet).
  2. 2Press Ctrl + G, then click Special.
  3. 3Pick Blanks (or Formulas, Constants…) and press Enter.
