Step through
Select a nested formula, Alt, M, V, click Evaluate repeatedly → Each step shows the value of the underlined part
Find where an error appears.
Step into references
Click Step In on a reference → Shows the formula in that cell
Follow references.
See caught errors
Evaluate an IFERROR → See the error before it is caught
Debug hidden errors.
Worth knowing
- F9 on a selected part of a formula is faster for one check.
- Restart evaluates from the beginning.
- Works on array formulas.
