  • Spell check a sheet

    Press F7 → The spelling dialog steps through misspelled words

  • Check a range

    Select a range, F7 → Only that range is checked

    Skip code and IDs.

  • All sheets

    Group all sheets, F7 → Every sheet is checked

Worth knowing

  • Formulas are not checked, only text and their results are.
  • Add product names to the dictionary once.
  • AutoCorrect fixes common typos as you type.

Where it goes wrong

  • It flags every code and abbreviation.
  • Does not check cell comments by default.
