When to use it
Scrolls one screen to the right, the horizontal version of Page Down.

Worked examples
Scroll right
Press Alt + Page Down → The view jumps one screen right
For wide monthly or daily layouts.
Scroll left
Alt + Page Up → One screen left
The way back.
Return to the cursor
Ctrl + Backspace after scrolling → The view returns to the active cell
Scrolling moves the view, not the selection.
Worth knowing
- Freeze the label column first so scrolling right keeps context.
- Ctrl + → jumps to the data edge instead of one screen.
- Shift + mouse wheel also scrolls sideways.
Where it goes wrong
- Scrolling does not move the active cell, so typing afterwards edits the cell you left behind.
- Laptops need Fn for Page keys.
