Date function
WORKDAY.INTL
Returns a date a number of working days away with a custom weekend.

When to use it
WORKDAY with a configurable weekend, using the same codes and strings as NETWORKDAYS.INTL.
The shape of it
- Syntax
=WORKDAY.INTL(start_date, days, [weekend], [holidays])
Worked examples
Six-day week
=WORKDAY.INTL(DATE(2025,3,14),1,11) → 3/15/2025
With Sunday as the only weekend day, Saturday counts.
String weekend
=WORKDAY.INTL(DATE(2025,3,14),1,"0000011") → 3/17/2025
Standard weekend as a string.
Backwards
=WORKDAY.INTL(A2,-5,1,Holidays) → 3/3/2025
Five working days back from A2 (3/10/2025).
Worth knowing
- Shift schedules with rotating days off use the string form.
- Holidays go last.
- Same codes as NETWORKDAYS.INTL.
Where it goes wrong
- Invalid codes return #NUM!.
- Seven 1s in the string return #VALUE!.
