=COUPPCD(settlement, maturity, frequency, [basis])
Worked examples
Previous coupon
=COUPPCD(DATE(2011,1,25),DATE(2011,11,15),2,1) → 11/15/2010
The November coupon.
Semiannual
=COUPPCD(DATE(2025,3,1),DATE(2030,1,1),2) → 1/1/2025
Coupons on January 1 and July 1.
On a coupon date
=COUPPCD(DATE(2025,1,1),DATE(2030,1,1),2) → 1/1/2025
Settlement on a coupon date returns that date.
Worth knowing
- Start of the accrual period for ACCRINT.
- Format as a date.
- COUPNCD for the next one.
Where it goes wrong
- Shows a serial number until formatted.
- Text dates return #VALUE!.
