Worked examples
Exactly six
=BINOMDIST(6,10,0.5,FALSE) → 0.205078125
Exactly six.
Cumulative
=BINOMDIST(6,10,0.5,TRUE) → 0.828125
Six or fewer.
Zero defects
=BINOMDIST(0,20,0.02,FALSE) → 0.667607679
Zero defects in 20.
Worth knowing
- Swap the name for BINOM.DIST in new work.
- Results are identical.
- Non-integers are truncated.
