=ACCRINTM(issue, settlement, rate, par, [basis])
Worked examples
Actual days
=ACCRINTM(DATE(2008,4,1),DATE(2008,6,15),0.1,1000,3) → 20.55
75 days of a 10% rate on 1,000, actual/365.
Half year
=ACCRINTM(DATE(2025,1,1),DATE(2025,7,1),0.06,1000,0) → 30
Half a year at 6% on 1,000, 30/360.
Full year
=ACCRINTM(DATE(2025,1,1),DATE(2026,1,1),0.06,1000,0) → 60
A full year.
Worth knowing
- Same as par × rate × YEARFRAC(issue,settlement,basis).
- Used for CDs and short notes.
- Basis matters; check the instrument.
Where it goes wrong
- #NUM! when settlement precedes issue.
- Text dates return #VALUE!.
